On the way to Red Rocks...

So...as you all know, we left Hueco Tanks yesterday.

We had a pretty uneventful drive through Texas and New Mexico yesterday and ended up at a rest stop in Arizona around 6:00 PM....that didn't last too long. We ended up taking a 30 minute ride into Flagstaff, Arizona to check out the scene. We checked out a couple of bars and ended up meeting a local climber named Natalia...she was our bartender and overheard us talking about....you guessed it....climbing...what else do we talk about? She told us about some local bouldering, so we decided to hang out an extra day in Arizona.

We ended up crashing in a local Walmart parking lot....once again...and Natalia took us out to check out the local bouldering scene at Priest Draw today (thanks for taking us out by the way...very much appreciated...). We were still a little burnt out from our stay at the Tanks, so we just did some pretty cool light climbing. There is a lot of undeveloped rock there, so we spent some time making our own lines which was pretty cool.

We are spending one more night in Arizona....in a Walmart parking lot....again...and we are planning on checking out the Grand Canyon tomorrow since we are so close...yea...I know...we are tourists...We should be in the Red Rocks area tomorrow afternoon/evening.
